In Châtillon-sur-Thouet near Parthenay, a visit to the Villa Ayrault will plunge you into the universe of Jacques Tati, the house so resembles that in his film Mon Oncle… Spacious rooms with the modernity of those times : a trip back to the 50’s and 60’s ! You’ll feel that time has stood still with the resolutely retro and vintage decor.
The four guest rooms of the Villa Ayrault pay hommage to the history of the Ayrault Brickworks : Fifties, le Vestiaire de l’Usine, la Chambre des Patrons, la Nouvelle Génération. In each you will find a courtesy tray (kettle, coffee, decaf, teas, infusions, sugar, biscuits…). Several acres of grounds surround the house with paths to stroll around and a vast terrace with heated swimming pool, allowing guests to enjoy the good, clean air of the Pays de Gâtine.
We will be happy to provide brochures and personal advice on places and activities in the region. Ideal for longer stays, La Villa Ayrault is THE out-of-the-ordinary destination for your next vacation.
The guest rooms Le Vestiaire de l’Usine and La Chambre des Patrons are communicating via an enclosed landing, creating a spacious suite. They are particularly useful for families and groups of friends.
As the rooms are so spacious, large extra beds (197 x 230) can be accommodated. Basketball players are very welcome !
